Your data never reaches us
Nifty Utilities has no backend server, database, user accounts, or endpoint capable of receiving your tool inputs. Files and entries are processed inside your browser. We cannot view, capture, or store them.
How to play
Press Start game and a key on the on-screen keyboard begins to glow. Press that key on your real keyboard and the next one lights up. Correct presses flash green and score a point; wrong presses flash red and count against your accuracy. After thirty seconds you get your total hits and your accuracy percentage.

Touch typing is built on one skill: knowing where each key is without looking. Key Trainer isolates exactly that. Because the target is shown on a keyboard map rather than as plain text, you build a mental picture of the layout — and because the pool grows from the home row outward, you learn the keyboard the same sensible way a typing course teaches it. It is a perfect warm-up before a typing test or a longer game.
Tips for a higher score
Rest your fingers on the home row (a s d f and j k l ;) between presses so every key is a short, known reach. Use the finger that "owns" each key rather than jabbing with one finger. And do not sacrifice accuracy for speed — a missed key costs you percentage points, and clean, confident presses are what build lasting muscle memory.
